Dose of Hope: Jeremiah 29:11
Happy Saturday afternoon, friends. This week’s dose of hope is coming to you a little later than normal, due to what the hubster and I would call a “crazy” Friday night: a bday party for our church. We worshiped, we praised, we Instagrammed, we laughed with friends, the hubster and our loved ones ate chocolate cupcakes and drank lots of red wine, and we crawled into bed way past curfew, totally wiped out and totally in love with our community.
This verse is one I’ve shared before, and you know I’m going to share it again. Because it’s one of my all time favorites, and I think it says in so many words what all of Scripture is trying to drive home: God loves us and He has good plans. It’s perfect as we ease into our #31Days to More of God’s Best and Less of the Mess next month. We’ll get things started on Monday with a quick look at what that phrase even means, because it’s my new all time life mantra. And don’t forget: We want you to be a part of it! It can’t be done alone.
OK, hugs and cupcakes (and a memory verse card below!).
Tell us ahead of time. What comes to mind when you read this verse or think of more of God’s best?
